Schedule
- Varies: 3 × 12-hour shifts (0600–1830, 0700–1930, 0800–2030)
- Call requirements include Saturday (0700–1700) and Sunday (0700–1400) on a rotational basis, approximately once every six weeks (may be as frequent as once every four weeks)
Requirements
- Active RN license in Arizona or a compact state
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- Experience in one or more of the following areas may be considered on a case-by-case basis: PACU, ICU, Telemetry, Cath Lab, Surgery Center
Responsibilities
- Admit patients
- Prepare patients for Cath procedures (charting pre-procedure checklist, IV start, access preparation)
- Prepare patients for Cardioversions (CV) and Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
- Recover patients following Cath who had conscious sedation
- Sedate, circulate, and document bedside procedures (CV & TEE)
- Discharge patients (teaching, documentation, and physical discharge)
