Shift and call information
- Shift times vary: 3 x 12s days (0600-1830, 0700-1930, 0800-2030)
- Start: Within 3-4 weeks of offer accepted
- Call requirements have begun and now include Saturday and Sunday
- Call is on a rotational basis, approximately once every six weeks, but may be as frequent as once every 4 weeks
- Call includes Saturday from 0700-1700 and Sunday from 0700-1400
Required licenses and certifications
- RN-AZ or compact state license
- ACLS
- BLS
Experience considerations
Will consider experience in the following areas on a case-by-case basis: PACU, ICU, TELEMETRY, CATH LAB, SURGERY CENTER.
Responsibilities
- Admit patients
- Prep patients for Cath procedures (charting pre procedure checklist, IV start, access preparation)
- Prep patients for Cardioversions (CV) and Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
- Recover patients following Cath who had conscious sedation
- Sedate, circulate, and document bedside procedures (CV & TEE)
- Discharge patients (teaching, documentation, and physical discharge)
