About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a 13-week assignment in Asheville, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Perform procedures such as CABG, valve replacement, VAD insertions, TAVR, VATS, lobectomy, pacemaker/AICD insertions, septal myectomy, Ross procedure, EVH, IABP insertions, femoral cannulation, and circulatory arrest.
- Work in a 6 ORs setting with all cases requiring 1 scrub and 1 circulator. Pump cases also require a first assist/Heart Holder which can be an RN or CST.
- Staffing includes 1 Unit Secretary, 1 Charge Nurse, 1 PCA, and 1 Core Tech.
- Equipment used includes Stryker, and documentation is done using Cerner.
- Scheduling involves on-call shifts rotated among staff members.
- Floating may be available if needed, but is infrequent.
- Patients are cared for according to extensive relevant CVOR experience.
Requirements
- Extensive expertise and experience in the RN Circulator Role in the listed procedures.
- Advanced skills in scrub/first assist experience and proficiency are preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- RN License.
- BLS certification.
