About the role
Travel/Local RN – CVOR position at MVHS Inc. – Wynn Hospital in Utica, NY. 13-week contract starting 08/31/2026 with 4x10-hour variable day shifts and a guaranteed 40 hours per week. Unit is a 2-bed Cardiovascular OR with a 1:1 patient ratio.
- On-call: Up to 7 days per 4-week schedule, including 1 full weekend
- Floating may be required if census is low
- Travel & local candidates accepted; 75-mile radius for travel candidates
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room
- Handle cases including CAD, Aortic Stenosis, and Mitral Regurgitation
- Use Epic & Omnicell EMR/equipment
Requirements
- 1+ year CVOR RN experience required
- Active NY RN license
- BLS & ACLS certifications
