Travel Nurse RN - CVOR - $3,210 per week

About the role

Halcyon Nurse Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job at UHS Wilson Medical Center, located at 33‑57 Harrison Street, Johnson City, NY 13790. The position is for a Registered Nurse – CVOR with a target start date of October 12, 2026 (or ASAP). The assignment runs for 13 weeks at 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) nursing care.
• May be asked to staff general OR if cardiac volume is low.
• Work 4, 10‑hour shifts Monday‑Friday (7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.).
• Complete 2 to 3 call shifts per week (typically 5:30 p.m.–6:00 a.m.) spanning the end of one shift to the start of the next.
• Work every other weekend (24 hours Saturday and 24 hours Sunday).

Requirements

• Current RN license.
• Experience in cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) required.

Pay

Travel rate: $47/hour for 40 regular hours = $1,880 per week. Meal allowance: $75/day ($525/week). Lodging reimbursement: $115/day ($805/week). Total gross pay: $3,210 per week.

Schedule

40 hours per week, consisting of 4 × 10‑hour shifts Monday‑Friday (7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.). Additional call hours: 2‑3 shifts per week (approximately 5:30 p.m.–6:00 a.m.). Every other weekend: 24 hours Saturday and 24 hours Sunday.
