About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing assignment in Richmond, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Scrub cardiac cases requiring bypass and related procedures in the mediastinum.
- Assist with thoracic surgery cases, including daVinci‑assisted procedures.
- Perform open thoracotomy, VATS, procedures initiating ECMO, and pericardial window.
- Take call as assigned; unit hours of operation are 0630‑1500, call starts at 1500.
- Weekend call (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) when assigned.
- Perform a variety of cardiac cases: CABG, valve replacement/repair, aortic dissection repair, TAVR, thoracic surgery (daVinci‑assisted lobectomy, wedge resections, mediastinal lymph node biopsy, ECMO).
Requirements
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) discipline.
- Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR).
- Start date: October 26, 2026.
- Assignment duration: 13 weeks.
- 40 hours per week.
