The unit averages approximately 10 cases daily, including cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures. Shift: 6:15 a.m.–2:45 p.m. Cerner charting; scrubs provided and parking is free with a permit.QualificationsStrong CVOR and general OR experience; three years preferred. A candidate with less CVOR experience may be considered with several years of trauma or main OR experience.Experience scrubbing cardiovascular, vascular, thoracic, and endoscopic cases. Required experience includes CABG, valve and aortic procedures, TAVR, ECMO, IABP/LVAD, vascular repairs, thoracotomy/VATS, and Whipple procedures.Teaching hospital and Level II trauma experience required.BLS required; ACLS preferred. First-time travelers accepted.Illinois RN license active or application in process, subject to submission review.Assignment details: Call is required. Schedule requests can be discussed with the manager. Floating within scope may be required.
