Job Summary

The Operating Room (OR) Specialty position is located in Corvallis, Oregon. This role involves providing cardiac care to surgical and procedural sedation patients across a diverse patient population, including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and elderly individuals. The OR team collaborates with various provider specialties to deliver care for patients preparing for discharge or hospital admission.

Job Details

• Location: Corvallis, Oregon

• Schedule: Rotating shift with 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license required upon submission

• Healthcare Provider Level BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

• American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required

• One (1) year experience as a Circulating Nurse in the Operating Room or completion of an approved didactic pre-operative nursing class

• Two (2) years experience in ICU/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and/or a medical/surgical acute care setting

• One (1) year experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room or Open Heart surgery required

Preferred Qualifications

• ICU experience

• Scrubbing experience

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
