Travel Nurse RN - CVOR - $2,933 per week

Job Description & Requirements

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a 13-week assignment in Lynchburg, Virginia. The start date is August 24, 2026, and the shift is 8-hour days.

• 40 hours per week
• Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic surgical procedures
• Open and closed heart surgeries
• Equipment assembly
• Collaboration with surgical team
• Post-surgical care coordination
• Emergency response

Required Qualifications

• One year of recent CVOR RN experience
• RN license in compliance with state regulations
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS certification

Essential Work Functions

• Maintain proficiency in CVOR procedures
• Prepare Cardiovascular operating room
• Assemble equipment, supplies, medications, and implants
• Collaborate with surgical team
• Confirm surgical preference cards
• Position and drape patients
• Coordinate post-surgical care
• Document specimens accurately
• Hand off patients to recovery team
• Evaluate patient care
• Follow sterile procedures
• Respond to emergencies
