Job Description & Requirements
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a 13-week assignment in Philadelphia, PA. The start date is August 10, 2026, and the shift is 8-hour days.
- 40 hours per week
- Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic surgical procedures
- Open and closed heart surgeries
- Equipment assembly
- Collaboration with surgical team
- Sterile procedures
- Post-surgical care coordination
- Emergency response
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent CVOR RN experience
- RN license in compliance with state regulations
- BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS certification
Essential Work Functions
- Maintain proficiency in CVOR procedures
- Prepare Cardiovascular operating room
- Assemble equipment, supplies, medications, and implants
- Collaborate with surgical team
- Confirm surgical preference cards
- Position and drape patients safely
- Coordinate post-surgical care
- Document specimens accurately
- Respond to emergencies
- Follow sterile procedures
