Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel CVOR RN for a 13-week assignment in Brookhaven, Georgia. The position starts on August 3, 2026, and works 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts.

Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CVOR RN
- RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
Summary
The CVOR registered nurse provides direct and indirect nursing care to assigned patients, collaborates with the surgical team, and coordinates post-surgical care.
Essential Work Functions
- Maintain proficiency in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic surgical procedures
- Prepare the Cardiovascular operating room for the patient and surgical procedure
- Assemble equipment, supplies, medications, and implants
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and the surgical team
- Utilize data from surgical preference cards
- Position patients safely
- Handle and document specimens accurately
- Provide post-surgical care coordination
- Audit, plan, and evaluate the nursing care of the patient
- Ensure sterile procedures are followed
- Respond effectively to emergencies
