Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a 16-week assignment in Atlanta, Georgia. The position starts on July 13, 2026, and works 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts.

Required Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CVOR RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification

Summary

The CVOR registered nurse provides direct and indirect nursing care to assigned patients, collaborates with the surgical team, and coordinates post-surgical care.

Essential Work Functions

• Maintain proficiency in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic surgical procedures
• Prepare the Cardiovascular operating room for the patient and surgical procedure
• Assemble equipment, supplies, medications, and implants
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and the surgical team
• Utilize data from surgical preference cards
• Position patients safely
• Document specimens accurately
• Provide post-surgical care coordination
• Audit, plan, and evaluate nursing care
• Follow sterile procedures
• Respond effectively to emergencies
