Travel Nurse RN - CVOR - $2,266 per week
About the Role
Travel nursing position for a CVOR RN in Tomball, Texas. Assignment duration is 13 weeks with a 36-hour work week on 12-hour day shifts. Employment type is travel.
Unit Details
- 10 ORs and a Cysto room
- 28 staff members
- Day Shift staffing: 1 Director, 1 Manager, 1 Charge Nurse, multiple Circulators and Surgical Techs, 1-2 Nurse Techs, 1-2 Anesthesia Techs
- Night Shift: On call only
- Patient ratios: 1-1
- EMR system: Expanse
Responsibilities
Perform typical CVOR procedures including:
- Off Pump CABG
- On Pump CABG
- Vascular Bypass
- Carotid Endarterectomy
- PPM revision
Requirements
Must have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- Minimum 3 years of recent CV surgery experience
- On and off pump CABG experience
Preferred: Candidates with these skills will be considered first.
- Vascular Surgery experience
- CV OR Experience
Qualifications
Required Certifications:
- RN license
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
Dress Code: RNs wear Royal Blue scrubs; Techs wear Caribbean Blue scrubs.
