About the Role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN for the CVICU unit in Reston, Virginia. This is a 13-week travel assignment starting on 08/24/2026, with a schedule of 48 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct primary recovery care for fresh cardiac surgery patients.
- Perform advanced procedures requiring skills such as ACLS, Balloon pump, Impella training, and Hemosphere or Acumen training.
- Participate in the launch of a new cardiac surgery program.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience with fresh cardiac surgery patients.
- Advanced skills: ACLS, Balloon pump, Impella training, Hemosphere or Acumen trained.
- Active ACLS certification.
