About the role
Coast Medical Service is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a 13-week assignment starting on August 10, 2026, in Peoria, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients requiring intensive monitoring and treatment in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
- Assist with daily patient assessments, medication administration, and other clinical tasks as directed by the medical staff.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans and updates.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing.
- At least one year of recent acute care experience preferred.
- Experience in CVICU or related critical care setting.
- BLS certification required.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of CVICU protocols and procedures.

Pay
