  • Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2448
  • Up to $500 Contract Completion Bonus

Schedule

  • 12 hours per shift
  • Nights shift
  • Weekend rotation every third weekend
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Up to 7 days of requested time off may be approved
  • 6-week schedule cycle with schedule provided 1-2 weeks prior to start
  • Cannot work more than 60 hours per week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts per fatigue policy

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of ICU experience with 1 year of CVICU experience required
  • First-time travelers accepted if minimum experience requirements are met
  • Patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2 for regular ICU status, 1:3 for mixed status
  • Care for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical patients including post-op CABG, TAVR/TMVR, valve repairs/replacements, heart transplants, esophagectomy, pneumonectomy, AAA, and carotid endarterectomy
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS; CCRN preferred
  • Must be competent in invasive line monitoring including Swan Ganz and A-lines, pacemakers (epicardial and transvenous), chest tubes, cardiac medications, ventilator/trach management, and cardiac rhythm interpretation
  • EPIC EMR experience required
  • Experience with ECMO, CVVH, IABP, and VAD preferred
  • RN draws from invasive lines only; peripheral sticks not permitted
  • Equipment includes Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, and GE monitors
  • May float to ED Holding, other ICUs (MRICU, SICU, CICU, Neuro ICU), MSU, Sitter, or PACU
  • Scrubs must be any solid color, professional with no graphics, logos, or designs
  • Free parking available with shuttle service during day shifts and attached parking structure for night shifts
