Responsibilities

• Competent in invasive line monitoring (Swan Ganz, arterial lines)
• Manage pacemakers (epicardial, transvenous)
• Care for chest tubes
• Administer cardiac medications (inotropes, vasopressors, sedation/paralytics)
• Manage ventilator/tracheostomy
• Interpret cardiac rhythms
• Perform RN draws from invasive lines (no peripheral sticks)
• Utilize EPIC EMR
• Float to ED
