Fusion Medical Staffing is recruiting a travel nurse RN for a CVICU position in Somerset, Kentucky. The shift is 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week, starting August 17, 2026, for a duration of 13 weeks.

Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CVICU RN
- RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
- TNCC, NIHSS certification
Summary
The ICU Registered Nurse provides comprehensive, critical care to patients in the intensive care unit. This role includes assessing and monitoring critically ill patients, administering advanced treatments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

- Maintain patient safety and comfort
- Document patient conditions and interventions

Required Essential Skills

- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read/write in English
- Read/write instructions, follow verbal instructions, proficient in PC skills
- Physical abilities: remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
- Interpersonal skills: work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary)
- Technical/motor skills: grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Mental requirements: cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure, work under close supervision occasionally, work without assistance from other personnel, contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally, continuous concentration to detail
- Sensory: possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
