This role involves providing specialized critical care to patients undergoing open heart procedures, including post-operative care for cardiac surgery patients. The position requires delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment during night shifts. Job Details Position Description: Responsible for caring for cardiovascular patients in a specialized ICU setting, including post-CABG, STEMI, IV vascular procedures, and open heart surgery care. The unit has 15 beds, with a patient ratio of 2:1. The role involves working nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, totaling 36 hours per week, on a schedule of 3/12's with 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks. Required Qualifications: AZ license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), 2+ years of ICU experience with cardiac/ICU background, ventilator management, and vasoactive drips experience. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with open heart procedures, balloon pump, CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy). Additional Responsibilities: Willingness to float to medical ICU and progressive care units, and available for on-call duties. Certifications: BLS, ACLS. Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour hours, minimum of 36 hours per week. Submission Requirements: Candidates must have AZ license, BLS, ACLS, and at least 2 years of ICU experience.
