Responsibilities

• Provide care for critically ill cardiac patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and provide hemodynamic support.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment.

Requirements

• Active Alabama RN license (Compact accepted).
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• At least two years of recent CVICU experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (AHA required).
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) required at time of submission.
• No more than 30 days gap in work history.
• SSN and Date of Birth required for compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel nursing experience.
• Experience with Cerner EMR system.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a rate of $1,892.00 - $2,009.00. Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
