Travel Nurse RN - CVICU - $1,933 per week

About the role

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a CVICU position in Medford, Oregon. The position is for 13 weeks, starting as soon as possible, with 36 hours per week and 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients
• Administer complex medications and treatments
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment
• Ensure patient safety and comfort
• Document significant conditions and interventions
• Communicate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Perform and interpret advanced hemodynamic monitoring
• Provide patient education
• Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures
• Adhere to infection control protocols
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• One year of recent experience as a CVICU RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications
• Preferred CCRN certification, TNCC, NIHSS certification

Qualifications

Must be able to:

• Remain in a stationary position
• Move about, move equipment (50-100lbs)
• Push, pull, and bend
• Work effectively with a variety of personnel
• Communicate effectively with the general public and customers
• Read, write, and communicate in the English language
• Read and comprehend written instructions
• Follow verbal instructions
• Proficient in PC skills
