About the role

Our Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) is an 8-bed high-acuity unit that provides complex monitoring and treatment of adult cardiac patients. CICU receives patients from the Cath Lab, ED, and Acute Care areas who require specialized cardiac care. This is a 580-bed Level 3 Trauma center and teaching hospital located in a vibrant small city known for its Riverwalk and as the home of Crimson Tide football.

36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts. Employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in a high-acuity cardiovascular intensive care unit.

Requirements

• 2 years of CVICU experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Active RN license (Compact accepted).
• Certifications: ACLS-AHA, BLS-AHA, NIH Stroke Scale (copies required).
• SSN and date of birth required for compliance.
• 1 professional reference from the last 12 months.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cerner EHR system.

Pay

Pay rate: $1,763.00 - $1,854.00 per week. Pay package includes tax-free stipend (amount to be determined). Based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week.
