About the Role
Travel CSICU Nurse jobs in Tuscaloosa, AL place you in a 583-bed acute care community hospital with a Level III Trauma Center. The hospital provides advanced cardiac surgical services and specialized intensive care for complex cardiac patients in a 4-bed CSICU and 8-bed CSU (stepdown). Tuscaloosa is a lively college town with a rich arts scene and plenty of outdoor activities. Birmingham is about a one-hour drive, offering additional entertainment and travel options.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized intensive care for complex cardiac patients in a cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU).
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- At least one year of recent cardiac surgical intensive care experience.
- Experience with Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) systems is helpful.
- Compact RN license accepted.
- ACLS and BLS certifications (copies required).
- SSN and date of birth required for compliance.
- One professional reference from the last 12 months.
- Minimum of 2 years of CVICU experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR systems.
Pay
Pay Rate: $1,612.00 - $1,695.00 per week. Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
