Responsibilities
- Providing specialized care to adult ICU patients
- Managing arterial lines, ventilators, and central lines
- Administering blood products and IV sedation
- Maintaining arterial blood gases, dysrhythmia interpretation, and ventilator management
- Monitoring neurological and cardiovascular status
- Ensuring infection prevention and PPE protocols
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Floating to related units as needed
- Completing orientation and documentation efficiently
Qualifications And Skills
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience and charge nurse skills
- Certifications in BLS and ACLS
- Proficiency in arterial blood gases, dysrhythmia interpretation, and ventilator management
- Ability to handle complex patient conditions and procedures
- Flexibility to float within unit scope and work night shifts
