Travel Nurse RN - Clinic - $2,296 per week

About the role

TotalMed is seeking a Registered Nurse for a travel nursing opportunity in a Clinic/Outpatient setting in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This 13-week assignment involves providing nursing care and support to patients receiving outpatient services, working closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare staff to ensure efficient, safe, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Take patient histories, vital signs, and perform assessments
• Administer medications, injections, and vaccinations as ordered
• Assist providers with minor procedures and diagnostic testing
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
• Perform wound care and basic lab work, including specimen collection
• Monitor patient progress and communicate concerns to providers
• Document nursing care and patient interactions accurately
• Coordinate patient flow and ensure exam rooms are clean and well-stocked
• Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA regulations
• Support patient scheduling and administrative duties as needed

Requirements

• At least one year of experience as an RN in a Clinic or Outpatient setting
• Current BLS certification
• Eligibility for State licensure
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment

Schedule

• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• 9-hour day shifts
