Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular ICU

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity care in a CVICU setting, managing ventilators, arterial lines, pulmonary artery catheters, pacemakers, LVADs, Impella devices, and vasoactive drips.
• Responsible for post-cardiac surgery patients, acute heart failure, arrhythmias, cardiogenic shock, and transplant pre/post care.
• Perform procedures such as central line management, dialysis, intra-aortic balloon pump operation, and intraoperative monitoring.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 2 years CVICU experience, ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Proficiency in arterial line, pulmonary artery catheter, ventilator management, and EKG interpretation essential.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system preferred.
• Ability to float within scope and pass necessary exams.
• Valid license required; candidates outside the local radius are accepted.
