About the role
Binding Minds is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients requiring cardiac stepdown monitoring.
- Work in a 30-bed facility with patient ratios of 6:1.
- Operate within a 12-hour shift, nights only.
- Utilize Meditech for electronic medical records.
- Comply with every other weekend scheduling requirement.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of recent PCU experience (cardiac unit) in acute care.
- BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required.
- NIHSS certification may be required based on facility policies.
Qualifications
- Current licensure to practice as an RN in the state of Tennessee.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills in cardiac care.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
