Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Cath Lab - $3,700 per week

About the Role

A Cardiovascular Interventional Laboratory (Cath Lab) Manager position is available in Louisville, Kentucky. The role involves overseeing daily operations in a busy cardiac cath and electrophysiology laboratory, managing staff, and coordinating workflow across multiple sites. This position requires experienced leadership in a high-volume clinical setting with adult patient care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations in a cardiac cath and electrophysiology laboratory.
• Manage staff and coordinate workflow across multiple sites.
• Shift coordination for both the main site and university site.
• Support staff in pre/post-operative, cath lab, and electrophysiology lab areas.
• On-call responsibilities, including shared phone tree call during emergency situations.

Schedule

• Days shift, 8-hour workdays.
• 6-week schedule cycle from 08/24/2026 to 10/09/2026.
• Approximately 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cath lab or electrophysiology lab, preferably both.
• CN (Certified Nurse), ANM (Adult Nurse Midwife), or NM (Nurse Manager) background with at least 6 months of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license and insurance may be needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree is a plus and may be necessary if transitioning to a permanent position.

Additional Information

• Facility uses Cerner electronic medical record system, Plum ICU medical pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, McKesson hemodynamic systems, and GE & Siemens C-Arms.
• Orientation includes a 2-week training period with the department director.
• Scrub color is Galaxy Blue.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
