About the role
TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a position in Lexington, Kentucky.
Responsibilities
- Work with a highly skilled team of medical professionals in a cardiovascular surgical environment
- Provide assistance to the physician including maintenance and monitoring of EKG equipment
- Absorb and assist during angioplasty, cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology
- Assist with implanting pacemakers and ICDs
- Be prepared to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty
- Be able to lift up to 20 pounds and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Have good skills for coping with stress and relating to people of all ages and backgrounds
Requirements
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH
- 2 years of recent acute care experience

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good interpersonal skills

Pay and Schedule
- Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation)
- Tax-free stipend amount to be determined
