Job Summary

The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) RN will provide specialized nursing care in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting. The role involves assessing, planning, and delivering patient care in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members, ensuring adherence to established standards and procedures.

Job Details

  • Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications; successfully pass EKG test.
  • Education Requirements: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with 3 years of registered nurse experience including 1 year in critical care.
  • Experience Requirements: Current Wisconsin or Compact RN licensure; 3 years of registered nurse experience including 1 year in critical care.
  • Location Requirements: Not specified.
  • Years of Experience: 3 years of registered nurse experience including 1 year in critical care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process and critical thinking in caring for patients.
  • Perform assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluations of care.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments per policies and procedures.
  • Accurately and comprehensively document patient care.
  • Develop and execute individualized patient plans of care.
  • Provide patient and family education.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities.
  • Support clinical expertise and resource sharing across units.
  • Manage complex situations with appropriate delegation and escalation.
  • Promote professional and organizational growth through continuous learning.
  • Support peer review and feedback.
  • Participate in professional nursing continuum.
  • Maintain timely patient flow and respond to telephone triage.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
