TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Portland, Maine.

About the Role

UNIT: CATH LAB RN MANAGER InterviewS. Will you accept a first-time traveler? No.

Experience Required

• 2+ years in Cath Lab AND/OR Interventional Radiology
• Cardiac Cath, Angiograms, IR cases such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrostomy tubes
• Administration of sedation, recovery of sedation patients, arterial access recovery
• Experience in a multidisciplinary team

Certifications Required

• BLS
• ACLS

Unit Details

• Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Inpatient/Outpatient ED
• Support on the Unit: RN supervisor on the floor that would oversee the traveler
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 to 2 in Labor and Delivery and 1:6 Postpartum mothers
• EMR: Cerner
• Floating: no
• Orientation (facility and unit): dependent on experience
• Scrub Color: Procedural, provided
• Beds: 5 Bays/1 procedure room

Schedule

• Weekend rotation: once per month
• RTO Approval: Manager approval
• On call: Yes, 1 night per week 4pm-6pm and rotating weekends
• Holiday Expectations: discussed during interview
• Parking: Free
