Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Cath Lab - $2,831 per week

About the role

As a Cardiac Cath Lab Travel Nurse in Rapid City, SD, you will work with a highly skilled team of medical professionals in a cardiovascular surgical environment, providing assistance to physicians including maintenance and monitoring of EKG equipment and assisting during angioplasty, cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology procedures.

Responsibilities

• Learn complex technologies effectively.
• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization to diagnose or treat heart conditions.
• Assist with angioplasties, valvuloplasties, and stent placements.
• Help implant pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs).
• Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Lift up to 20 pounds routinely; patient moving/lifting may require up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrate good stress‑coping skills and relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Requirements

• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience (1‑2 years preferred)
