Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Cath Lab - $2,810 per week

About the role

Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse in Saint Louis, Missouri. This position involves working within a high-volume, high-acuity diagnostic and interventional percutaneous coronary intervention environment. Non-local candidates only (must reside at least 75 miles from the facility).

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional PCI procedures
• Provide conscious sedation
• Hand sterile supplies
• Assess vitals
• Document thoroughly in EPIC electronic patient record system
• Cross-training to operate hemodynamics is likely
• On-call duties including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays (1-2 nights weekly and every 2-4 weekends)

Requirements

• Active license in Missouri or valid compact license
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum of one year of experience in interventional catheterization
• Experience in high-volume, high-acuity cath lab settings preferred
• Must pass Relias EKG exam
• License must be in hand at the time of submittal
• Must pass COVID-19 vaccination assessment
• Flu vaccination required unless exempted for medical or religious reasons
• Compliance with onboarding and certification deadlines, including module completion within designated timeframes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with electrophysiology (EP) procedures
• Experience with Impella and IABP
• Confidence in providing conscious sedation in a Level 1 trauma, high-volume cath lab environment

Schedule

• 10-hour shifts, days (07:00 AM to 05:30 PM)
• 40 hours per week
• Rotating with late and close shifts as needed
