Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Cath Lab - $2,810 per week

Job Summary

Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Specialist position located in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role involves working within a high-volume, high-acuity cardiac catheterization environment, providing diagnostic and interventional procedures. The position requires adapting to rotating shifts and on-call responsibilities, with a focus on supporting advanced cardiac care.

Schedule

• Rotating shifts with 10 hours per shift, totaling a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Shifts start at 0700 and may include late and close shifts as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Certifications in ACLS and BLS
• Two years of experience in cardiac catheterization
• Experience working with diagnostic and interventional PCI procedures
• Valid license in Missouri or a compact state at the time of submittal

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Epic documentation system
• Impella device experience
• Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) experience
• Previous work in a Level I trauma and high-volume cardiac lab

Patient Care

• Manage adult patients with diagnoses including acute myocardial infarction, chest pain, heart failure, NSTEMI, Aortic Stenosis, V-Tach, endocarditis, atrial fibrillation, peripheral vascular disease, and sick sinus syndrome.
• Procedures and Skills: Circulating in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, providing conscious sedation, sterile supply handling, vitals assessment, documentation, and cross-training in hemodynamics monitoring.
