Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Anchorage, Alaska. Requirements

• One year’s recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification
• Current ACLS Certification
• PALS or ENPC Certifications
• RCIS certification

Essential Work Functions

• Conduct assessment of patients prior to procedures
• Absorb and perform physical exams
• Assist in positioning patients correctly for the procedure
• Absorb and perform the placement of catheters, wires, balloons, stents, structural heart devices, and other cardiac interventions
• Operate and monitor hemodynamic equipment
• Recognize and respond to changes in cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic waveforms
• Assist in arterial and/or venous sheath removal using closure devices, manual pressure, or mechanical compression
• Transport patients to the appropriate recovery area
• Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab equipment
• Communicate effectively with team members, patients, families, and physicians
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards
