Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Cath Lab - $2,721 per week

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Columbus, Ohio. • 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8 hours, days
• Start Date: 08/10/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification
• Current ACLS Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• PALS or ENPC Certifications
• RCIS certification

Essential Work Functions

• Conduct assessment of patients prior to procedures
• Absorb and perform physical exams
• Assist in positioning patients correctly for the procedure
• Absorb and place EKG electrodes and cardiac leads
• Absorb and assist physicians during procedures
• Absorb and operate and monitor hemodynamic equipment
• Absorb and monitor vital signs, ECG, and hemodynamic parameters
• Absorb and assist in arterial and/or venous sheath removal
• Absorb and transport patients to the appropriate recovery area
• Absorb and support post-procedure care
• Absorb and maintain and troubleshoot cath lab equipment
• Absorb and communicate effectively with team members, patients, families, and physicians
• Absorb and adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards

Required Essential Skills

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
• The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
• Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
• Physical Abilities - Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
• Interpersonal Skills - Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary)
• Mental Requirements - Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel. Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail
• Sensory - Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
