Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Cath Lab - $2,647 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Little Rock, Arkansas. The assignment is 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, 10‑hour day shifts, travel employment type. The ideal candidate should have 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with a highly skilled team of medical professionals in a cardiovascular surgical environment, providing assistance to the physician including maintenance and monitoring of EKG equipment.
• Assist during angioplasty, cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
• Learn complex technologies effectively.
• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization as a way to diagnose heart conditions or as a treatment.
• Assist with angioplasties, valvuloplasties and stent placements.
• Help implant pacemakers and implantable cardioverter‑defibrillators (ICDs).

Requirements

• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience (or 1‑2 years as noted)

Skills

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
• Capable of lifting 20 pounds routinely; may need to lift up to 50 pounds when moving or lifting patients.
• Good stress‑coping skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
