Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Cath Lab - $2,594 per week

Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Shreveport, Louisiana. The position involves providing specialized care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional treatments. Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, assisting during procedures, operating and monitoring equipment, and supporting post-procedure care.

Requirements

• One year’s recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification
• Current ACLS Certification
• PALS or ENPC Certifications (preferred)
• RCIS certification (may be required for this position)

• Advanced cardiac care skills

Essential Work Functions

• Assess patients before procedures
• Position patients correctly for the procedure
• Absorb and respond to changes in cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic waveforms
• Operate and monitor hemodynamic equipment
• Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab equipment
• Communicate effectively with team members, patients, families, and physicians
• Maintain strict safety and regulatory standards
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice
