Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Cath Lab - $2,430 per week

Job Summary

The role involves providing specialized care in a cardiovascular unit performing procedures such as angioplasty and stenting. The nurse will work day shifts supporting a team of clinical staff in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Shift: 10 hours, days

Required Qualifications

• Valid Kansas nursing license
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
• At least 1 year of current acute care hospital Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) registered nurse experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Mac Lab experience
• Meditech experience

Additional Information

• The unit has 4 beds with a staffing of 12 members, including 2 traveling nurses
• The team handles cardiac drips, angioplasty, and stenting procedures
• The unit operates with a 1:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Typical equipment includes Phillips fluoroscopy systems
• The schedule involves on-call responsibilities with 1 night and 1 weekend per month
