Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Cath Lab - $2,356 per week

About the role

TotalMed is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a travel nursing opportunity in Casper, Wyoming. This position involves working within a cardiovascular surgical environment, assisting physicians with procedures such as angioplasty, cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization to diagnose heart conditions or as a treatment
• Assist with angioplasties, valvuloplasties, and stent placements
• Help implant pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs)
• Learn complex technologies effectively
• Maintain and monitor EKG equipment

Requirements

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty
• Ability to easily lift 20 pounds; moving or lifting patients may require lifting up to 50 pounds at times
• Good skills for coping with stress and ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment

Pay

Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week, 13-week duration with start date of September 21, 2026.
