About the role
A Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Longmont, Colorado. The role involves circulating and monitoring cases, patient pre- and post-procedure care, and responding to patient calls in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Unit notes: hiring process includes profile review with MedSol Clinical and an interview with the unit manager. The cath lab handles an average of 4 cases per day, including both cath and interventional radiology (IR) procedures. Clinicians must be in the state during the week of orientation, which is scheduled post-hire; first-day training may include remote modules.
Schedule
- Four 9-hour shifts per week, days from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Some weeknight, weekend, and holiday call requirements.
- Flex schedule including call rotations, holiday shifts, and potential floating within designated zones.
Orientation is conducted over a few days following facility onboarding.
Requirements
- Valid AHA ACLS and AHA BLS certifications.
- Relevant college degree or diploma in nursing.
- Licensure to practice nursing in the state of Colorado.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab.
- Experience with cath procedures.
- Availability to start on 09/07/2026.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with IR procedures or willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with Epic, MacLab, or Siemens equipment.
- Cardiologist after-hours/on-call support experience.
