Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Cath Lab - $2,296 per week
AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Yakima, Washington.
About the Role
This travel nursing assignment starts on 09/21/2026 and lasts 17 weeks, with a schedule of 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts. The facility is a non-profit community hospital with two Cath Lab procedure rooms and a collaborative team environment. You will care for patients undergoing cardiac and vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures, including implantable devices and electrophysiology mapping.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients undergoing cardiac and vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Assist with implantable devices and electrophysiology mapping
- Administer and monitor conscious sedation
- Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic and Merge
- Maintain knowledge of radiation safety and infection control
Requirements
- Active Washington RN license
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- At least two years of recent Cath Lab nursing experience
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Experience with travel nursing (at least one assignment in Cath Lab)
- Strong clinical assessment skills and effective communication
- SSN and DOB required for compliance
- One professional reference from the last 12 months
- Skills checklist and reference dated within the last 12 months (job within the last 5 years)
- Previous travel experience in Cath Lab within the last 2 years
Skills
- Proficient in administering and monitoring conscious sedation
- Strong clinical assessment and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of radiation safety and infection control protocols
Pay
Pay rate: $2238.00 - $2353.00 per week, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
