Unit Information
The assignment includes two step‑down units:
- CPCU (Cardiac Step‑Down Unit): 14 beds, 1 staff member, day shift M‑F 8:00‑16:30, patient ratio 1:14, EMR systems Meditech and Midas.
- PCU (Medical Step‑Down Unit): 14 beds, similar staffing and shift structure, patient ratio 1:14, EMR systems Meditech and Midas.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year current acute care case manager RN experience.
- RN or Licensed Social Worker credential.
- BLS certification.
- Active Kansas licensure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Midas and HCA case management systems.
- Prior experience at an HCA hospital.
Responsibilities
- Case management assessment.
- Discharge planning.
