Key Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and surgical equipment
- Auxiliary in patient positioning
- Maintain sterile fields
- Support surgical teams with instruments and supplies
- Monitor patient vital signs
- Handle specimens
- Document care
- Participate in handoffs
- Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum one year recent OR RN experience
- Valid RN license
- Certified BLS
- PREFERRED: ACLS, PALS, ENPC, or CNOR
- Requires critical thinking, effective communication, physical ability to move equipment and assist patients, and the capacity to work under pressure with attention to detail
