Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse for a travel assignment to provide specialized cancer care in hospital and clinical settings.

Responsibilities

  • Administer treatments, manage side effects, and educate patients and families
  • Monitor patient conditions, document responses, and ensure safety
  • Assist with oncology procedures and operate specialized equipment
  • Advocate for patients, develop individualized education plans, and participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Follow safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum one year of recent oncology experience
  • Valid RN license and current BLS certification
  • PREFERRED: OCN and ACLS certifications
  • Critical thinking, strong communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to assist with equipment and patient care
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
