Role Overview
Seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse for a travel assignment to provide specialized cancer care in hospital and clinical settings.
Responsibilities
- Administer treatments, manage side effects, and educate patients and families
- Monitor patient conditions, document responses, and ensure safety
- Assist with oncology procedures and operate specialized equipment
- Advocate for patients, develop individualized education plans, and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Follow safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum one year of recent oncology experience
- Valid RN license and current BLS certification
- PREFERRED: OCN and ACLS certifications
- Critical thinking, strong communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to assist with equipment and patient care
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
