Responsibilities
- Monitor vital signs
- Assess high-risk conditions
- Educate and support mothers and families
- Ensure emotional and medical needs are met throughout labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal stages
Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Degree from an accredited nursing program
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS
- At least 18 months recent experience in an acute care Labor & Delivery setting
Key Skills
- Caregiver compassion
- Ability to monitor and respond to high-risk situations
- Patient education and support during childbirth
Additional Duties
- Maintain monitoring of mother and baby
- Sustain emotional support for mothers and families
- Ensure safety during delivery processes
