About the role
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for a Progressive Care Unit position. This role involves night shifts of 12 hours, with a focus on delivering quality adult and pediatric patient care, typically at a ratio of 1:4 patients. Flexibility to float between units, including Medical-Surgical areas, is expected.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered care in accordance with hospital policies
- Administer medications, including PCA pumps, cardizem, and insulin
- Coordinate with support staff such as educators, care managers, and therapy teams
- Participate in hourly rounds and maintain high responsiveness standards
- Float to Medical-Surgical areas as needed
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
- Telemetry competency
- Experience with EPIC charting system and Alaris IV pumps preferred

Schedule
