Travel Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Location: Omaha, NE

Responsibilities

• Providing patient-centered care aligned with hospital policies
• Administering medications and drips, including PCA pumps, cardizem, and insulin
• Coordinating with support staff such as educators, care managers, and therapy teams
• Participating in regular hourly rounding and maintaining high responsiveness standards
• Floating to Medical-Surgical areas as needed based on staffing requirements

Qualifications and Skills

• Active RN license
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Competency in telemetry
• Experience with EPIC charting system and Alaris IV pumps preferred

Schedule

• Night shifts (12-hour nights)
• Adult and occasional pediatric patients (15+ years)
• Patient ratio of 1:4
