Travel Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

About the role

Providing high-quality, patient-centered care for adult and occasional pediatric patients aged 15 and older in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting in Omaha, NE. Night shifts carry a patient ratio of 1:4.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and drips including PCA pumps, cardizem, and insulin
• Coordinate with support staff including educators and care managers
• Participate in hourly rounding
• Float to Medical-Surgical units as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Telemetry competency
• Experience with EPIC charting system
• Familiarity with Alaris IV pumps (preferred)

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
