Travel Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

About the role

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to adult and occasional pediatric patients aged 15 and older in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including educators, care managers, and therapy staff in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, including drips, PCA pumps, cardizem, and insulin.
• Conduct hourly rounds and maintain responsiveness standards.
• Float to Medical-Surgical units as needed.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Telemetry competency preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting and Alaris IV pumps is advantageous.

Schedule

Night shift (12 hours).
